The Volunteer Ambassador Program is an opportunity for students and community members to gain leadership and nonprofit administrative experience at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. Volunteer Ambassadors primarily support Volunteer Coordinators during the weekly Saturday morning events when hundreds of volunteers help inspect, sort, and pack donated food for distribution throughout Los Angeles County.

We strive for Volunteer Ambassadors to build and maintain relationships with our volunteer groups to increase retention and awareness of our mission: to mobilize resources to fight hunger in our community. With the assistance of dedicated volunteers like you, we are able to provide food for thousands of individuals every month.
