The food we get here makes a big difference. It means I can stretch my food stamps to last me through the month and still make meals. We get fruits and vegetables, so we’re eating healthier.
The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank will launch its 13th annual Summer Meal Program on Monday, June 4. The program will run until school begins, providing a nutritious lunch to children who would normally access their midday meal at school.

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank’s largest food distribution program is our network of more than 600 partner agencies and 1,000 distribution sites. These are schools, senior and community centers, churches and pantries.
Our mission is to mobilize resources to fight hunger in our community. Of course some of those resources are food and monetary donations.
