On this Veteran’s Day, we are especially proud to work with U.S. Vets Long Beach.
U.S. Vets Long Beach is one of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank’s more than 650 partner agencies on the front lines in the fight against hunger in our local communities.
It is estimated that more than one third of college students go hungry in the United States. That number is much higher on the community college campuses in Los Angeles County.
For the fifth year, the major studios of Los Angeles came together to fight hunger. Disney, Fox, Paramount, NBC Universal, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros. and The Actors Fund brought over 200 volunteers to our Annual Studio Day to pack food for those in need in our community.
