For the third year, NORMS’ “Make Caring the NORM” campaign encouraged community members to donate to their local Food Bank.
Instead of receiving a cap or a mug, KCRW listeners opted instead to donate to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. The three-week, on-air campaign provided more than 60,000 meals for our neighbors in need, just in time for the holidays.

Government Shutdown increasing the need for Food Assistance in Los Angeles County
The Help 4 the Hungry campaign raised $400,000 which allows local food banks to help provide approximately 1.5 million meals to our neighbors in need. The money was divided up and shared with local food banks, relative to where the donations were made.
