For more than twenty-five years, Billy Harris has been wowing audiences throughout the United States and around the world. A cousin of Vaudeville great Georgie Jessel, Billy has been performing his entire life. Harris has also partnered with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, and in less than six months’ time, Los Angeles chefs, Billy Harris and his colleagues have supported the Food Bank by hosting many events.
Most recently, Billy Harris gathered with chefs Antonia Lofaso, Brooke Williamson and Shirley Chung prepared amazing dishes. Shirley’s wontons, Brook’s turkey “bacon” scotch egg, Antonia’s Chicken n’ waffles were all big hits.
On Sunday, April 14, 2019, chef Jeremy Fox and chef de cuisine Andy Doubrava prepared a delicious meal, and the live auction benefited the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. The crab cake was a crowd pleaser, and the Calabrian chicken salad was also a big hit.
In December of 2018, Bruce Kalman, Tyler Anderson, Nick Shipp, Dave Grohl, Antonia Lofaso and Duff Goldman joined to produce an afternoon of food and music. The crowd enjoyed amazing Barilla pasta prepared by chef Antonia Lofaso, Backbeat BBQ by Dave Grohl, and more delicious food from chefs Bruce Kalman, Tyler Anderson, Nick Shipp and Duff Goldman. A new event has been scheduled at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank on 41st street in Vernon, CA. Howlin’ With Harris will be an epic modern take on the Southern feast, featuring Nashville style hot chicken, meats, sides, and treats along with cocktails, appetizers, wine, coffee/matcha service. Ticket price includes all food, beverages, tax & tip. Proceeds from the live auction and charity partner, The Wells Fargo Foundation, will benefit the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
