Four Unique Ways to Fundraise for the Food Bank

Four Unique Ways to Fundraise for the Food Bank

One person can make a difference. Learn about the four ways you can join the fight against hunger.

By supporting the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, you are supporting your neighbors in need. More than 2 million individuals are struggling with food insecurity in Los Angeles County. You can help the Food Bank and its more than 600 partner agencies help individuals and families in need year-round.

The following are unique ways you can help.

1. Start a Facebook Fundraiser

There are so many incredible ways to fight hunger. If you post about the Food Bank or food insecurity, you help us expose the hunger crisis and educate community members about our cause. By starting a Facebook Fundraiser, you’ll encourage others to join you in helping our neighbors in need. Start a Facebook Fundraiser>

2. Start a Team #WeFeedLA Fundraiser

Gather friends, family, colleagues, and others to get involved in fighting hunger in LA County! Start a virtual fundraiser on behalf of the Food Bank and support your community. Whether it’s a birthday, holiday, or any day fundraiser, you’ll be helping feed individuals and families struggling with food insecurity. Learn more on our Team #WeFeedLA page>

3. Become a Monthly Donor

Thanks to generous food and product donations from growers, wholesalers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and others, the Food Bank is able to serve more individuals and families. Did you know that donating $23 a month to the Food Bank helps feed one individual for a whole year? For less than one dollar a day, your monthly donation goes a long way for someone who is struggling to have three meals a day. Become a monthly donor today>

4. Donate Cryptocurrency

Food Bank supporters and cryptocurrency holders are now able to donate directly to the Food Bank through The Giving Block, supporting families and individuals in need. The Food Bank has been accepting Cryptocurrency donations for a few years now but this process has been made easier thanks to The Giving Block. Learn more about donating cryptocurrency>
