Attention: Vended Meals Companies or Food Service Management Companies

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is soliciting request for proposal for vended child nutrition meals for its Summer Food Service Program. The Food Service Vendor would provide meal services, including non-food items, in accordance with United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations and guidelines as well as State of California Department of Education policies and guidelines.

The above institution reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids/proposals or to accept the proposal that it finds, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the Sponsor, price and other factors considered.

Beginning on 3/27/23, a bid packet will be made available to all interested bidders by clicking the link below or though email request to rfp@lafoodbank.org.

Potential bidders are asked to email their questions to Hilda Ayala or Claudia Gonzalez at rfp@lafoodbank.org by April 17, 2023, at noon. The LA Regional Food Bank will email its response to these questions by April 17, 2023 at 5:00 PM.  

All questions will be answered in writing only and sent to everyone no later than 5 PM on April 17, 2023.

All bids must be submitted no later than Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 4 PM, PDT.  

All bids should be delivered in a sealed envelope and addressed to Hilda Ayala and be clearly marked: Vended Child Nutrition Meals Bid.
