Food From The Bar is an annual fundraising and volunteering effort, held every Spring. The campaign is a friendly competition including legal firms, law schools and legal services organizations, to see who can raise the most funds, acquire the most food, and work the most volunteer hours for the Food Bank in an effort to feed the children of Los Angeles County who may go hungry in the summer months.

Since the campaign began in Los Angeles in 2009, it has raised more than $6.5 million.

Step 1

Decide how your firm or organization
wants to participate.

Fundraise

Raise valuable funds for the Food Bank. Because of donated food and the work of volunteers, the Food Bank is able to provide 4 meals for every dollar raised. Set up a Virtual Food Drive or fundraise at your firm with some of these ideas.

Volunteer

Have your organization come in to volunteer this spring by contacting Ana Martinez at (323) 234-3030 ext. 144 or via email at amartinez@lafoodbank.org.

Food Drive

Collect food through a physical food drive. Contact Camryn Gordon at (213) 561-0291 or via email at cgordon@lafoodbank.org to get food drive boxes.

Step 2

Register to participate

Step 3

Organize your team and
have fun!
