CalFresh/LA County residents: If you have lost your job and need food assistance, please apply for CalFresh benefits online by visiting the BenefitsCal website at www.benefitscal.com. The Department of Public Social Services is open and accepting all CalFresh applications. Despite the federal government shutdown, CalFresh applications are still being processed. If approved for November benefits, your CalFresh issuance will be delayed.
