The 21st annual Season for Sharing was held on Thursday, December 14, at the Omni Hotel Los Angeles. Throughout the event, the Food Bank honored donors, individuals, and organizations that have significantly contributed to the fight against hunger in Los Angeles County.
The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank was honored to have Michelle Fisher, ABC7 Eyewitness News weekend anchor and general assignment reporter, as emcee for the annual Season for Sharing event.
Joining ABC7 Los Angeles in November 2022, Michelle previously anchored at the Black News Channel and NBC News, where she led the digital show “The Report by NBC News” on Quibi. With roots in Virginia, Michelle earned her Bachelor’s degree in American Studies from the University of Virginia. Her broadcasting journey started in Monroe, Louisiana, and she later honed her skills at WBZ-TV, CBS Boston. Michelle’s return to Southern California is a full-circle moment, having completed internships at KABC-TV during her UCLA Extension journalism studies.
