Planned Giving

We hope you’ll consider including a gift to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank in your will or living trust. Called a charitable bequest, this type of gift will help support the vision of the Food Bank that no one goes hungry in Los Angeles County.

Just a few sentences in your will or trust are all that is needed. Share the sample bequest language for the Food Bank with your estate planning attorney:
A fixed dollar amount: “I give the sum of $_____ to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, 1734 E. 41st ST., Los Angeles, CA 90058 to be used or disposed of as it deems appropriate in its sole discretion.”

A percentage of your estate: “I give ___% of my entire (or residual) estate to Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, 1734 E. 41st ST., Los Angeles, CA 90058 to be used or disposed of as it deems appropriate in its sole discretion.”
